A new educational leader will be at the helm of Goshen High School beginning with the 2026-27 school year.

Caleb Vanden Eynden will be the new principal at the high school beginning Aug. 1. He brings with him a wealth of experience both as a teacher and a building leader to Goshen.

He most recently served as middle school assistant principal over two buildings at Centerville City Schools, as well as high school assistant principal at Edgewood City Schools. Vanden Eynden holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Dayton and has completed post-master’s coursework in education at Miami University.

Vanden Eynden also has served as the director of staff of the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership program, managing a team of 70 staff members. HOBY is a non-profit program that aims to identify and inspire high school sophomores with leadership potential.

“Our team was so impressed with Caleb,” said Superintendent Brian Bailey. “The high school principal job is an important high-profile position in our district and Caleb has shown that he is ready to step into the role.”

Vanden Eynden takes over the principal position from Stephanie Walker, who has moved to Goshen’s central office as Director of Student Services.

"I am honored and excited to join the Goshen High School community,” Vanden Eynden said. “By building strong relationships and keeping students at the center of our work, we can continue creating opportunities for all students to learn, grow, and succeed. I look forward to learning more about what makes Goshen special and building upon the tradition of excellence that already exists."
