A new professional will be joining the leadership team at Goshen Middle School beginning with the 2026-27 school year.
Jake Kallgren will be the new assistant principal at the middle school beginning Aug. 1. He brings with him over 15 years of education experience both as a teacher and a building leader.
He most recently served as principal at West Clermont Middle School, and also served as special education supervisor at West Clermont. Kallgren holds a master’s degree in arts history from Wright State University and has completed post-master’s coursework in education at Xavier University, University of Cincinnati, and Miami University.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Jake join our team,” said Superintendent Brian Bailey. “He brings with him a wide range of knowledge as a teacher, a leader, and a professional who makes student-centered decisions.”
Kallgren takes over the assistant principal position from Nate Baughman, who departed Goshen at the end of this past school year to become principal of Batavia Middle School.
