Seniors in the Goshen High School Class of 2026 crossed the stage at Truist Arena on Wednesday, May 13, and stepped off into their futures.
Two hundred and thirty-seven students collected their diplomas during the annual commencement ceremony held on the campus of Northern Kentucky University.
Carson Shures was named class valedictorian; Maranda Royal as named salutatorian.
The class of 2026 earned 1,462 college credit hours before graduation, and completed4 4,809 hours of community service. This group of students also amassed $5.7 million dollars in college scholarship offers.
Thirty-nine students were members of the National Honor Society and three were members of the National Technical Honor Society. Forty-seven earned an academic honors diploma.
For their future plans:
110 seniors have chosen to attend a 2- or 4-year college
11 have opted for a trade or vocational school, or a paid apprenticeship
44 are joining the workforce
26 are taking a gap year
9 are enlisting in the military
