2021-2022 COVID Numbers

Updated on March 4, 2022

GLSD is required to report the number of students testing positive for COVID. If your child is ill and they are exhibiting the symptoms of COVID, parents must report their child’s symptoms by calling their child's building attendance line. If your child receives a positive COVID-19 test, you must report the results to the building principal or the school nurse.

After reporting by phone or through the form, parents will receive a follow-up phone call from the district nurse to discuss the appropriate plan of action.

The district is required to report the information to our local health department, and also report the positive COVID-19 case to parents. When we know of a confirmed positive COVID-19 case, we will send an email to all parents who have a student in that building. Additional communication will go to parents who have a student in the same classroom, ride the same bus, or participate in an after school activity or sport together.

Parents of students who may have been exposed to the confirmed positive COVID-19 case will receive a telephone call from the District and/or the Clermont County Health Department with instructions on how to quarantine.

Each time there is a positive COVID-19 test we will not send an email district wide. Only parents who have children in the buildings where the positive COVID-19 case was reported will receive communication from us.

Each week, we share the number of first-hand, confirmed positive staff and student cases of COVID-19, and the number of quarantines in Goshen Local Schools.  The case number reflects confirmed positive cases during the reported week. The numbers are not cumulative.  Quarantine reflects officially quarantined persons by the Clermont County Health Department.
