Goshen's innovative student programs honored by Ohio School Boards Association

Our Gateway to Technology Robotics program run in conjunction with Great Oaks Teacher Kevin Easley at Goshen High School was recognized for their participation at the upcoming OSBA student achievement fair in Columbus next month. PLTW empowers students to step into the role of an engineer while developing team building skills and a problem solving mindset.  Booth visitors will view demonstration of student designed and assembled VEX Robot and discuss the design process. The program was selected for its real world application and its focus on student's critical thinking skills.

Goshen Middle School STEM Bike Club was recognized for their participation at the upcoming OSBA student achievement fair in Columbus next month as well. GMS students build a bike to complete experiments & explore physics & inertia. Students design an experiment on a topic of their choice, teaching them the experimental design process while growing their confidence in Science & Math. Special thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors of this wonderful program.
