Goshen's BAC earns state recognition

The Goshen Local Schools Business Advisory Council was recently recognized by the state of Ohio for creating important business-education connections that benefit students.

Goshen's BAC was named a three-star BAC by Interim Superintendent of Public Instruction Stephanie Siddens and Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted.

Goshen's business advisory council was one of only 26 BACs to receive recognition, out of 110 around the state.

Business advisory councils are locally focused partnerships that convene education and business leaders to build trust and identify strategies to support students. These partnerships open up a dialogue between schools and business, and can lead to work experiences for students and business support for school functions.
