It is my belief that as long as students are participating and trying their best in music class, they are learning. Therefore, my grading policy is based on student participation in class. Kindergarten:
- S (Satisfactory: Participates in most music class activities
- N (Needs Help/Experience): Chooses not to participate in most music activities
1st Grade & 2nd Grade:
- O (Outstanding): Always participates in all music class activities
- S (Satisfactory): Participates in most music class activities
- N (Needs Improvement): Chooses not to participate in most music activities
3rd Grade:
- 1 (Consistently Demonstrates): Always participates in all music class activities
- 2 (Progressing Satisfactorily): Participates in most music class activities
- 3 (Needs more help/experience): Chooses not to participate in most music activities
