This is my 42nd year of teaching in the Goshen Local School District. I taught 3rd grade for the first 31 years and have taught 4th grade the remainder of the time. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati. I went on to receive a Masters of Education/ Curriculum Supervision from Wright State University and have obtained 15 hours of post graduate classes from Miami University. I received the "2011 Excellence in Education" award from the Goshen Chamber of Commerce.

Kristen lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband, Ken, and two children, Zachary, 12 (6th grade) and Alexis, 10 (4th grade). Our other daughter, Heather, her husband Nate, along with Peyton James, age 8 (2nd grade) and Avery Jaide, age 3, live in Kansas City, Missouri.
I enjoy gardening, reading, and traveling. I traveled to Europe the summer of 2009 where I enjoyed the sights of England, France, Austria, and Croatia. In all I have traveled to 47 states and 12 countries. This picture was taken at a cafe in the Montmarte District of Paris, France.
