Every Friday your child will bring home a math packet from Mrs. Brandon that will be due the following Friday. They will also receive a reading log on Friday that will be due the following Friday. The math packet will cover ideas taught during the week. The reading log should be filled out each night after your child does their nightly reading. Each night your child must write a brief description of the book they read that day. Both the math packet and reading log will come home in their Friday folder and will be turned in the following Friday.
I will pass out our spelling list each Monday. Your child can study the words in whatever way is most beneficial to him/her-writing them, saying them,singing them etc.
Additional reading, science, or social studies papers may be assigned during the week. If there is other homework, it will be written in the agenda.
Please sign your child's agenda each night, and feel free to use it as a means of communication between us.
