Mrs.Brandon and I will pass out homework for the next week, each Friday, so please look for a math packet, reading log and spelling list in the Friday folders. The homework is to be completed and turned in the following Friday; therefore, giving the students 1 week to complete the work. Of course, there will be projects and other assignments that occur throughout the school year and those assignments will be recorded in the student agenda and will be on the class web page(weekly). Note: Anything I give out in class is available to the students for the entire week. I have extra copies available; therefore, losing homework is never an excuse for not completing the work because it is always easily accessible for the students throughout the entire week.

Reading: Monday -Thursday, the students are expected to read (any book of their choice) for at least 15 minutes and provide 2 written responses on the Reading Response Form. The form is due on Friday or the last day of the school week.
Spelling: Please study spelling words each night. Some students find flashcards helpful or writing/typing them several times. If you are looking for other creative ways, please email me and I can make some suggestions such as using the spelling words to make a creative story. Websites such as www.spellingcity.com can be a fun, helpful, spelling tool. Spelling test will be given on Friday.
Math: Mrs.Brandon creates a math packet that is to be completed within 1 week and turned in on Friday.
Science and Social Studies: Projects/homework will be assigned as needed (look in agenda for these assignments)
