I am very excited to be teaching in the Goshen Local School District. I graduated from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, and have 12 years of teaching experience in a wide array of cultural and socioeconomic contexts. My experience teaching ESL (English as a second language) students from countries including Vietnam, Cambodia, and Mexico has further strengthened my belief that every student is unique and must be taught with methods that meet the specific student’s needs. Having taught in both gifted clusters and gifted classrooms, I strive to be diligent in providing challenges and opportunities to help my students reach their fullest academic potential in an environment of encouragement and support.
I am happily married for over nineteen years. My husband and I are blessed with two beautiful daughters.I enjoy running, reading, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
