Reading Homework has begun! Your child is receiving a book on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from me and on Thursdays is free choice (which means that you can read a book from home or one that has already come home). Please log these readings on your child's reading log. This is located in the back pocket of your child's folder. A new one is given out on Mondays and taken out of your child's folder on Friday. Every night your child reads they earn .5 pts, so they can earn 2 pts a week. After the first 5 pts your child will earn a hat and then every 5 pts after that they receive button to go on their hat. Hats do not come home until the end of school.

A packet will be sent home on Mondays and a half sheet should be completed each night and due back to school on Friday.
