Who is Ms. Wilder?
My Role at GMS
I am an intervention specialist. I am teaching this year with Dr. Pritts. I also am teaching a resource language arts and life skills class 6th and 7th period. I am here to support all students in reaching their educational goals, through support and encouragement, focusing on the long-term goal of independence.
Experience
This is my 13th year as a middle school intervention specialist. It is my 7th year at Goshen Middle School. Prior to working in middle school, I was a direct care provider at a local group home and an assistant teacher at Child Focus.
Education
I graduated from Goshen High School in 1994. I have a B.A. in elementary and special education from Morehead State University and an M.A. in elementary education with a specialization in gifted education from Northern Kentucky University. I am highly qualified in language arts. I have participated in "History Alive" training and in differentiation training. Over the summer I participated in Junior Great Books training.
More Information
I have lived in Goshen for the past 7 years. Before that, I lived in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. I have one daughter, who is in the 7th grade. I also have two nieces that are a lot of fun. I truly enjoy my career as a teacher. I look forward to spending the school year working with your children.
