Who am I?
Hello! I am Emily Slagle and this is my tenth year teaching at Goshen Middle School. I grew up in Goshen and graduated from GHS in 1998. I completed my student teaching at a DODDs school in Kaiserslautern Germany and then graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 2002. I have two wonderful children; Evie, age 4 1/2, and Roland, age 2 1/2. We are expecting our third child in March of 2012! My husband, Mark, also works for the school district as Director of Technology.
Credentials:-Bachelor's Degree from Miami University of Ohio
-Master's Degree from Indiana State University
-Gifted Education Endorsement from University of Cincinnati
-Social Studies Department Chair (2004-2012)
Currently Teaching:
-7th grade World History
Students will gain an understanding and appreciation for Ancient World History in order to better understand our current world climate.
