    Ms. Sharon Neidigh

I grew up in northern Indiana, graduating from Bremen High School. My undergraduate degree in Special Education was obtained at Indiana State University (Yes, I was in Terre Haute when Larry Bird was playing basketball there).

A few years after graduating from college I moved to Cincinnati and immediately found a job at Goshen Middle School. I've been here ever since, & if you know who Larry Bird is then you know about how long I've been teaching in Goshen...a fairly long time.

I started out as a 7th & 8th grade special education teacher and now I am a 6th grade intervention specialist. After teaching for several years, I went back to school to get my Master's degree in School Counseling from Xavier University.

Now, I am a 6th grade intervention specialist at Goshen Middle School.

    My email address is neidighs@goshenlocalschools.org

You may reach me by phone during 4th period, between 10:26 A.M. and 11:14 A.M. I also may be able to talk to you 3rd period between 9:12 A.M. and 10:00 A.M. My phone number at school is 722-2226 ext. 6019.

Your child should write the homework for all classes in an agenda. It is an excellent idea to look at & sign the agenda daily to help with organization and responsibility.

The first goal for Integrated Academics (IA) is to teach school-wide behavior skills. We will focus on school rules, study & test taking strategies, and bullying prevention. Those themes will be reinforced all year.

Also, mini-lessons will be used to reinforce the lessons taught in the classrooms. This will help student achievement in classes and on the OAT test.

Behavior and academic rewards will occasionally take place during this time.

I look forward to working with you and your child.

    Thank you,
