October I.A. Lessons:
Tuesday, October 5th-
1. Play Integer jeopardy with students. Divide class up in to 4 teams. Project the jeopardy from this website. (no calculators!)
Integer JeopardyYou can be the host, or you can have a student be the host.
2. Please have the students complete a Type 2 writing assignment.
Question: What are the rules for multiplying and dividing negative and positive integers. Please describe these rules using an example for each.
Tuesday, October 11th-
1. Have students complete the tic-tac-toe review questions. Students must answer the questions that will allow them to get a tic-tac-toe diagonally, or across (but not up and down). Students can choose which problem/route to start with.
2. Please provide the answers when completed/have them mark them right or wrong.
3. Please collect and return to my mailbox!
Tuesday, October 18th-
1. Play "I Have, Who Has?" - encourage the student to look at their card and list all equivalent forms of this number so that they can be ready when the match is said.
2. If time allows, you can start again and challenge students to have the game complete in under 2 minutes!!
