    Goshen High School Mural

    Back to Mr. Siefert

On February 4, 2008, the much anticipated high school mural was unveiled. When you first enter Goshen High School you see a mural depicting the quote "Honoring The Past, Embracing The Future". I designed the mural to incorporate the past and the future theme. The past depicts revered Goshen educators Mr. Joe Spaulding, Ms. Katherine Marr, and Miss Aurelia E. Cook. Along with them is the first school built in Goshen, the Green Building. The school crest resides in the middle of the mural as the centerpiece. As part of the future I wanted to show a young student looking toward the future as a graduate of Goshen High School. The mural was created by the 2007-2008 Senior Art Portfolio class. During the creation of the mural, I made sure to document our progress from beginning till end. Check out the pictures below as it all comes together.
