Students will learn the history of pottery as well as the major techiniques of handbuilt ceramics including pinch, slab, coil, and modeling methods. An emphasis will be placed on improving techniques as they progress through the class.
Students assignments wil be assessed on the following: fulfillment of requirements, effort, design/preparation work, creativity/originality, and craftsmanship.
