1st grade- Students learn about primary/secondary colors and warm/cool colors. They learn about symmetrical patterns, lines, shapes and how to draw a self-portrait. They explore media such as crayons, watercolors, construction paper, markers, pastels.

2nd grade- Students review their knowledge primary and secondary colors as well as lines and shapes. They learn about color patterns, line patterns, warm/cool colors, and complimentary colors. They also learn about different artists, art styles, and cultures.
