Photography I is a digital photography class. In Photo I, we primarily create photographs on the computer, using Adobe Photoshop, a photo-editing software. Students will also learn basic photography history, composition and color theory, though a variety of book and seat work. Students do not need a camera for this class, in fact, most of the art work created in this class is created on the computer. However, there will be three homework assignments where students will need to take photos outside of class. If a camera is need the student can arrange a time to take photos before or after school.
