This class will look at American History from the Industrial Revolution through modern times. It is designed to give students general over view of American History as well as prepare the students to take the OGT ( The Ohio Graduation Test ). It is my expectation that all students will do well in my class and on the OGT. This is a mandatory class for all 10th graders and a graduation requirement at Goshen.
There are very little materials that students will need to provide for this class but the following will be mandatory for the students to have everyday.
1.) Their American History Text
2.) Some type of Notebook ( I prefer a 3 ring binder)
3.) Some type of writing utensil ( I prefer a black pen, but I will accept most colors which are easily read )
Grading: Grades will primarily come from 3 areas
1.) In class work and home work ( I prefer to give most of my work in class but home work may be assigned as needed )
2.) A note book
3.) Test
