The 9th Grade World Geography course is a one-semester high school course focusing on physical and human geography, with an emphasis on current events. Following the State of Ohio’s Curriculum standards and the National Standards for Geography, students will work to expand their worldview and to deepen their knowledge of their cultures and communities.World Geography is designed to provide students with knowledge regarding the physical and human geography of our world; to enable students to understand the inter-relatedness of religions and cultures around the globe.
