The Goshen High School Class of 2010 will be purchasing plaques which will list past GHS class valedictorians and hang in the main hallway across from the attendance window. We will also help out with purchases related to the GHS military garden which will recognize and honor Goshen students whom have enlisted in all branches of U.S. military service.

ATTENTION SENIORS: In order to be included in both the yearbook and class composite, Fugett Photography must take a head and shoulder portrait of you! You may contact them (www.fugettphoto.com, 1-877-587-5597) to make an appointment; this needs to be done before the beginning of the new year as we will be provided with a CD with all senior portraits for the yearbook. They will also be here at GHS on THURSDAY, December 3, 2009 from 6:30 a.m. - 8 :00 a.m. in the Community Room to take portraits (approximate cost $5).

HOMECOMING IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER! This year's theme is video games. Float building begins on Saturday, October 3 and will continue through Thursday, October 8 and will be held at Tyler Stewart's home (barn!) located at 6375 Belfast Road (see Mrs. Wilder in A127 if you need a map).
HOURS: Saturday & Sunday = 1-5 PM; Monday - Thursday = 4-9 PM.
We are in need of the following donations:
- wood
- chicken wire
- nails, screws, staples, etc.
- use of tools (hammers, drills, staple gun(s), etc.)
- paint, brushes
- large jugs of white glue
- spray adhesive
- food/snacks/beverages/cups/napkins/paper plates, etc. for each day!
The parade begins at Spaulding Elementary at 5:30 p.m. with the game beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2009. The dance will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 8 p.m. -11:30 p.m. in HIGH SCHOOL gym this year! Shoe check (prom fundraiser) is $2; Fugett Photography will be on hand to take pictures; Mr. Garrett, who was the DJ at the Cominghome dance earlier this year, will providing the music.

"SENIOR WEAR" order forms are now available from Mrs. Wilder in A127 or in the Main Office! Items available include short sleeve t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, hoodies and fleece (sweat) pants in both girl and boy styles--the items would make Christmas gifts! SEE CLASS PRESIDENT CHUCK MURPHY to provide your signature to be included inside the number 10 image; Oak students will be provided with order forms and the sheet for signatures by either Mrs. Gatio (currently filling in for Mrs. Mantz) &/or Ms. Meyer. Orders and signature are due no later than noon on Friday, October 23, 2009!

POWDER PUFF will be Wednesday, October 7! Any senior GIRLS interested in purchasing a shirt (rainbow tye die) and/or in playing, must sign up in A127 by the end of the school day on Wednesday, 9/23 so that shirts may be ordered in time. Mr. Russell & assistant coach Sean Mott will be coaching again this year; practice will be schedule if and when possible--silent for announcements.
