October 14 is the start of the Goshen PTO - FOOD PANTRY Fridays. Please send in any non-parishable item to school with your child. The items will be collected and given to the two food pantries located in Goshen. Volunteers are needed to help with the collection and loading. Please call the Food Drive Coordinator Shawn Burke @ 923-7790 if you can help on the morning of the drive.

October 18 is the annual Muffins with Moms at the Spaulding Elementary. The event will start at 7 am. We are looking for dads who would like to volunteer at this event. You would need to help set up the tables and to help serve the donuts. Please contact the SES building Rep to help. Shelli Childs @ 678-9372.

October 18 is the monthly meeting for the Athletic Boosters please come out to support this group. The meeting will be held at the GHS building @ 7pm.

October 20 is the M/C annual Grandparents Fun Night between 6pm - 8pm. Please come and have some fun with your grandchilds for the evening.

October 28 will be the celebration day for Student of the Month at GMS @7:30am

October 28 will be the day that the students at M/C will have their Fall Parties. NO COSTUMES are allowed to be worn to school.

The week of October 24 - 28 will be the annual OGT testing week at the GHS. Please make sure that your child has a good night sleep and a good breakfast before coming to school these days to make sure they do well on the tests.

The Annual Marching Band Concert will be held on Thursday, November 10th, at 7:00 in the GHS Auditeria. Come enjoy the success of our marching season as well as the middle school concert bands!!

The GHS drama club students will be putting on the play Lizzie Borden on November 18 and 19 at 7pm. The cost will be $5.00 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. Even though the new fall season will be in full force please come out and support the high school drama club. These students and their coaches really work hard for these events.

The NHS is working on a possible event this winter "Toys for Tots" and they are volunteering Habitat for Humanity in November. The NHS will also be selling cookie dough in November to raise money. So please look for a National Honor Socity kid and help them to raise the money they need.

GHS and the Class of 2013 will be hosting an ALUMNI SOCCER game on OCTOBER 22 at 5:oopm. Please contact Kelly Royal (royalk@goshenlocalschools.org) or Margie Hadley (hadleym@goshenlocalschools.org) if you would like to participate in this fun evening of soccer. Tickets costs and concessions will benefit the Class of 2013 and their presentation of the Prom 2012.
