The Student Achievement Fair is one of the most successful and rewarding exhibitions at the Capital Conference. This overwhelmingly popular event was held from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2017.
The Student Achievement Fair showcased the many innovative projects and programs districts have created to boost student achievement and engage youngsters in learning and growth. The fair offered excellent opportunities to learn about new programs, share ideas and celebrate what public education in Ohio is all about — helping our students achieve.
Goshen Local Schools booth showcased Goshen Middle School's Gateway to Technology program. Mr. Emerine and students Conner Hellenthal, Skyler Reeves, Brooke Noland and Hudson Ellen reviewed how the course allows students to engage in the engineering process to find solutions to real-world issues with conference attendees, including State School Board Member Nick Owens.
